“Haven't been to a chuck e cheese location over some time now and would definitely say that the upgrade they did to this specific location is amazing . They finally got rid of the disgusting tunnels & added more selection of games , there's seems to no longer be a long wait to get in or a wait for games which is also good if you're bringing younger kids . I still would say chuck E Cheese is a little bit more on the pricey side and for a kid 8 or older maybe you should take your chances at Dave and busters since they have more selection at cheaper rates but just for a quick play time for kids I would say stop in .”

“I LOVE THIS PLACE! Had to say that first. This pool hall reminds me of old sitcoms in a very good way. The staff is friendly like cheers. They great you warmly, make the attempt at learning your name even if you don’t come as regularly as some other patrons. That effort does not and should not go unappreciated. They do however remember a face well so when they say it’s good to see you again they really mean it. I recently had a bunch of friends meet up at this place and just hang out for the night. THEY HAD A BLAST! 1)the food is amazing for an amazing price 2)it’s doesn’t smell of beer on the floor or dirty carpets 3)the bar is very reasonable in price(guys if you looking to ball on a budget for your date...wink wink) 4)The pool tables and equipment are great condition. Basically this is a Rochester gem. I highly recommend making this place apart of your regular hangout spots.”

“Girl working register at the ice cream area had no idea when I asked her what a nutty dip was. I was ordering right off of the menu board! She said, "I don't even know what that is." It turned out to be the frozen banana with chocolate & nuts, (which is what I wanted.) Then she just stood there. I said, "If you don't know what it is, can you ask someone?" I couldn't believe she just stood there. The banana was very good. We also got a kiddie cone. She obviously didn't care about being there. She should have been serving up the orders, not at the register if she can't take the time to learn the menu.”

So this next assessment pertains to that area. The cleanliness of the area could have been better. I used a menu that had dried food on just about every page. I needed to use germ x after reading the menu. There was trash underneath our table. The tabletop appeared clean as did the cutlery. The bathrooms could have stood some attention as well. We were there around 6:30 on a Saturday evening. The restaurant was not crowded. I would have given them 5 stars had these issues not been there. Overall, I will go again.”

“Our first visit was a quiet Sunday afternoon, with only a few other patrons in the place, so the two counter attendants were helpful in telling us of their menu. We had been hiking on a chilly, damp afternoon so we tried the basic cup of coffee and shared a macaroni and cheese special. The coffee was hot and hit the spot-- good though nothing spectacular. We had indicated we were staying to eat, but they still put my coffee into paper to-go cups, and the counter staff indicated most of their customers still prefer the disposable, and so my friend requested a mug-- tip: if you're environmentally friendly and prefer that, be certain to specify it with your order. Food is also served in disposable take-out containers as well; it likely saves staff time on washing dishes, but might chafe at the sensibilities of those who want to create less waste. The macaroni and cheese was a vegetarian special that day, topped with southwestern black beans and tortilla strips. This was really delicious, and the bean and tortilla topping was a much better combination than I had imagined it would be. The macaroni and cheese is prepared ahead and reheated, and the toppings seem to be added afterward. The food was cooked very quickly. It was tasty, but the preparation was a bit lacking. The mac and cheese was so hot as too need a bit of blowing on to prevent burning the tongue, but the bean topping under the tortilla strips was unfortunately not evenly heated, with the edges only warm and the center actually still cold. My sense is food is prepared off-site and reheated in microwaves for patrons at time of service. So while this was a very satisfying dish, and large enough for us to share as a light lunch, for the prices, I would have preferred better preparation. The place was clean, quiet, and the food was good-- it's somewhere between a coffee house and a cafe, with options ranging from salads, breakfast sandwiches, wraps all the way to cookies and coffee milkshakes. From what we had, they have both decent food and coffee, but don't quite excel at either. Despite having no other customers to wait on when our food was ready, they called across the room for us to come to the counter instead of walking it to our table. When the bill comes to $20 without tip for 2 cups of plain, brewed coffee and one small entree, tax and tip, I would expect the food preparation to be higher quality, and preferably with table service.”

“My wife and I stopped in for dinner tonight. the place is definitely shiny and new. Bright and clean. It’s a burger joint in Rochester so we ordered plates. The food was cooked to order but still came out pretty quick. Our plates hit on all of the key points of a true plate with large enough portions of mac salad and home fries. The meat sauce was pretty good too. The hard roll with a pat of butter in a plastic bag was a nostalgic add on. The staff was friendly with smiling faces. While we were there someone came out to the dining area to straighten up chairs and wipe down tables. Overall a good experience for a place that just opened yesterday. I’ll be back.”
