King Bar by David Burke

The name says it all situated within the palace that is The Garden City Hotel you feel like royalty as soon as you enter the wood clad room! Their drinks are amazing and you can order small or large plates by celebrity chef David Burke who takes all your favorites and makes wonderful concoctions that tantalize your senses! It was not to noisy and the service was exceptional all around and offer my highest recommendation, CHEERS!

Great food, drinks, atmosphere, location. No complaints here. Staff was helpful and knowledgeable and although it was busy we were never made to feel like we had been forgotten. We will definitely be back!

We tried the steak frites, surf & turf dumplings (filled with lobster & short ribs!) and cheesecake lollipops. The food was fantastic! I'm giving it 5-stars because of the overall atmosphere - very comfortable and inviting, the food was prepared to perfection and the service was great. Could not have asked for more. I will definitely return for more. By the way, we traveled from Brooklyn (Atlantic Terminal) on the LIRR. Didn't realize the stop was directly across the street from the hotel/restaurant (another plus!).
