    Excellent falafel. I used to go to Sabra in Cedarhurst, but they are gone. I went to another place in Cedarurst, and the falafel was absolutely AWFUL. Abe's. was GREAT! Tons of fresh veggies, great pita and absolutely wonderful falafel balls. The very best. Highly recommended.

    I have known Pete since we were both teens and his dad ran the old joint which was just as amazing. Seriously great gyros and souvlaki. I would put them up against ANY place in Astoria. And if you have a sweet tooth, the rice pudding and galaktabouriko have very few equals within 2000 miles. Worth the trip wherever you are coming from. Summertime is perfect for a gyro after the beach.
