Ancona Pizzeria & Heroes

I honestly don't know what to say about this establishment. My son wanted target Pizza hut pizza and they were closed. I looked up spots and decided to drive to this location based on some reviews and pictures. Man was I glad I stopped by, the food was amazing, the staff were amazing! I ordered a specific item and they didn't have romaine due to the recent outbreaks. The chef went next door and bought the vegetables and made the dish. Now that's amazing!! Next time I visit again I will take pics. Also please remember to walk with cash.

Loved this place as a kid. Moved out of New York 20 years ago and just came back for a visit and had to go get some real New York pizza. It was delicious!!!

One of my favorite ???? restaurants in all of Long Island. Fresh ???? sauce, I ask for extra sauce on my pie. Their recipe seems to be very good.

So the food here is really good. They dont deliver which is a bummer. The reason they lose a star with me is because the people who work there are so cliquey...like high school girls. If you walk in before someone they know who is one of their "regulars" the other person will be taken care of first...every time...no matter what. They make small talk a little too much for me personally. If you're a first timer just be prepared to be skipped if you're shy or there is basically anyone else there ordering.

This place was recommended by a friend.. This place has delicious pizza and lasagna, great service. Would definitely go back and try their variety of pizzas and pasta. Would definitely recommend it to others.
