Great service!Great homemade ice cream! A long time family favorite place for a delicious dessert or meal.

Waffles there are supreme! Staff is super friendly! I'd highly recommend! If you escape work and want to try something new, this is the place!

the burgers are so juicy and delicious and the ice cream is still top shelf! nice people great food!

Family Favorite for 4 generations- we will travel from Queens to come to Itgens even though Eddie's is practically around the corner. I've been a fan since the early 60's and not much has changed except the prices.
We bring our out of town guests here for a real old fashioned family experience - sometimes just for ice cream if we go to Bigelows for Clams and such or sometimes for the full wack - burgers and ice cream sundaes. We even had our wedding rehearsal dinner here 33 years ago and our son and his bride followed the tradition for their wedding rehearsal 3 years ago.

Our favorites are the old school burger platters - like the Royale Dulexe Bacon Cheeseburger with Fries and the Banana Royale. We always get the sundae with lots of whipped cream (freshly made on site), homemade hot fudge and wet syrupy walnuts - it comes with three generous scoops of homemade rich ice cream - we get java chip (our fav), mint chip (son's fav) and maple walnut (in honor of my great aunt).
Other great items include real turkey club sandwich and some of the German specialities. It's a family run business and the food and prices are GREAT.
