I've had better, I've had worse. Very limited menu. Not fresh made ramen. If it was, mine was at least a day old.
Authentic Japanese ramen. Porky broth and noodles are great. The place is small but service is quick.
One of my go-to ramen places in great neck.
It's marginally better than the instant ramen bowls you can buy in some Asian grocery stores. I really want to be able to like this place, but at $15-$20 for a bowl of ramen it just is not worth it. The Chinese people who run this Japanese ramen joint at least try to emulate an authentic ramen experience by yelling Irasshaimase!" (いらっしゃいませ!), meaning "Welcome to the store!" or "Come on in! Also, they place Japanese music. I gave TeiNei Ya an extra star just because of this effort. But I wish their ramen was tastier.
Great ramen. The bone broth is amazing. Specially great in cold weather. One of my favorites.
