I have never been a fan of this restaurant. Today I was passing by and decided to stop on impulse with my party of six. I have a three star rating because the lady at the door was very polite. We did not have a reservation and it’s understandable that I would have to wait. After 30 minutes we were seated. Here is why I never liked it. 1. Nothing for kids. When I asked the waiter offered soup. 2. Everything is $13.99 and up nan separately. And a nan is $3.00 and to make it Garlic nan or butter nan it becomes $4.00. 3. If you come with 5 or more people automatically they add 18% gratuity to your bill. 4. It’s an Indian and with pride they say “we don’t serve chai”. I ordered black tea. It came with a Lipton teabag and three ounces of water. No milk no sugar. I asked. Got sugar but no milk. Asked for milk and by the time the milk arrived the tea was already cold. Now while I am waiting, let me add this: the couple next to me is complaining also. I am not alone. They took my plate while I was in the middle of my appetizer. I did not mind at the time. But fifteen minutes later when the meal did not arrive I did. The food was not spectacular but over salted. The ambiance is nice, the staff is nice. Need to cater for kids. People come with family. Unless they do not encourage kids.
My favorite restaurant. Ethnic ambiance, so beautiful and elegant.
Best food- everything! Butter chicken and rice, Tandoori anything (fish, Shrimp, chicken) and lamb chops!!!
Great food, nice place to take you family to have a nice sit down dinner and chat. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because some of staff are not that friendly, otherwise great place.
Decent hotel for all kind of Chinese and India food. We ordered Indian appetizer., Chinese soup and chines entreee. The food quality was good and staff of the hotel. Was friendly too. I would strongly recommended to give your order ready ASAP if you are hungry and because they will take much time to bring your food to your table. Quality was good, service was slow, ambience is good, location is great, parking is enough.
This is THE BEST non vegetarian Indian restaurant we have been to on Long Island. Seems to be a wait often (with lots of tables available????) but it was worth it! Everything we had was simply delicious. The bbq lotus was crispy and light yet so flavorful. You can't go wrong with whatever you order.
