“Quiet weeknight diner. Tasty, well executed basic diner food. Romanian steak surprisingly an excellent cut of meat, very tender, no gristle at all. Appropriately medium rare. Hearty portion of mashed potatoes & steamed veggies (good variety - broccoli, cauliflower, green beans, zucchini ). Impressed with butter & butter substitutes offered in the bread basket that included 2 whole wheat rolls. Who says diner food isn't healthy!? Well....other than the thick crusted pie..... Decor is dated, but friendly efficient old style floor staff fits the ambiance. Good value for $$ as a well rounded meal, inclusive salad & dessert, was under $30.”

“One of the reasons why I still go to this place is because it is convenient when I am doing laundry next door and just want something quick to eat. This place changed owners in the last couple of years. The new lady that is there does not have the greatest customer service skill. The owners before were great even when under pressure during busy times. This lady yells on the phone and is short tempered. She doesn't seem to like when you ask for amendments to what is on the menu. For example, their chicken wings are a hit and miss. There are times that they are really good and there are times when they are not. Sometimes they fry them too long and they become hard and dry so you not really having much taste of the meat just dry over fried chicken. The French fries and fried rice is a hit and miss. Sometimes the fries are not that good and other times they great. They tend to not put in any effort into their fried rice. It is just basically fried yellow rice and not your "traditional" fried rice. The fried crab legs are good. The other reason why still go there occasionally is there is one guy that does the cooking and runs on days that the lady is out. He used to do the deliveries when the other owner had it. He is still there and he is great. He has a great personality and hardly ever see him upset. The lady's kids are there to help out many times they have a better attitude than she does. If the guy was not there any longer, I would never go back there. This is the same reason I stopped going to the place in the shopping center down the road where there is Fine Fare and across from Checkers. The people there have nasty attitudes. When you in the business serving food, attitude is everything. All jobs have their stressful moments, but this is the first you choose so deal with it best you can.”

“Cozy and secure. The inside is so nice. For a second I forgot I was at a fast food spot.. Felt more like a sit down formal dinner. I got a chicken sandwich. With a glass of milk (which isn't on the menu, but I brought some inside in a canteen) I ate for 30 minutes. And then I left the location, with a smile. I also found a meat patty in the parking lot.”
