“Long Beach Diner is transforming into a Greek restaurant. They still serve breakfast, and burgers but they have a new chef from Greece. We haven't had a Greek restaurant in Long Beach for many years, and it is great addition. The food is very authentic and well prepared. Everything is freshly made and nothing is frozen, so sometimes they may run out of some of the more popular dishes. The portions are huge and the price quite reasonable. The moussaka is a unique take on a Greek classic, more like a pie than the usual slice of pan baked. Real eggplant with a fabulous béchamel sauce. We have been 3 times in the last 3 weeks and plan to be regulars. Give yourself a treat and try their Greek menu.”
