Land Thai Kitchen

I've been coming here for 5 years, my favorite thai in NYC. I especially like going for the lunch special, only $9 and SUCH good rice and noodle dishes! For dinner if it's just me I usually do a pick up order, ready in 10 minutes. If I go with friends and it's busy, they'll call by phone when the table is ready - meaning we can browse the cute shops nearby instead of standing in a doorway! I don't mind a bit of a wait because the staff are so polite and I know the food comes quickly. Modern decor, beautiful food presentation, easy parking- it's my go to!

The food was very good even though the service wasn't the same... maybe they were tired!

Very good Thai food. The restaurant is small, fitting probably 30 people. It is one of the few places where you can get a lunch special consisting of appetizer and main course for $ 11.
The personnel was courteous and the service quick.

Excellent food for great price. Two course lunch for fixed price of 11 dollars. Highly recommend!

Don't let the small size of the store restaurant deter you from eating here because the service is out of this world amazing and the food is great.

Why is the service out of this world?
Because the staff is amazingly attentive to your needs. Before ordering I wanted to know how spicy the food was. I mentioned to the waiter that while I enjoy and can tolerate spicy foods I don't have the highest spice tolerance and he recommended medium spice. When the food came I was having a hard time enjoying the food because it was too spicy. I didn't want to have the kitchen recook anything because my friends and I were catching a movie but the waiter quickly noticed, asked what was wrong, and immediately offered to bring out a mild version of the dish. When he noticed I was hesitant, he asked why and said he would ask the cooks to work on it right away. The food came out quickly, and was delicious. My friends and I made the movie and I had a very enjoyable meal.

I also just want to say that they were great about replenishing water. It may sound silly but you'd be surprised at how many waiters/waitresses forget about something so simple such as bringing out or filling up your water glass. I tend to go through water quickly (and not just when I eat spicy meals), and I never had to ask to have my water refilled.
