Went here for a office department party for a coworker that is leaving. We had 3 nice size standing tables with plenty of room. We had the typical bar food, no oysters, the food was above average, warm and tasty.

Drinks we served quickly and service was quick and responsive.

To bad their happy hour of years ago is not served anymore.

We were starving and this place was within walking distance so we chose it and stopped in. Very relaxed atmosphere and mostly bar food but it is pretty delicious. I ordered the calamari for an appetizer and the shrimp tacos. If you are just wanting a place to have drinks this would be a great spot!

Predominantly bar food with a fresh seafood. We had raw oysters on a Friday night and I was pleasantly surprised at how good as fresh they were. The fried cod tacos were pretty good as well. Our wait staff were great too.

We come here on Sunday at 7pm and it so busy. This place is half bar& restaurant. The menu don't have much food for you to pick but it good enough combination between hamburgers and Oysters place. The price are affordable, service good and waitress are nice. I have a very first time to try Top Neck Clams, it a lot of favors but I like Oysters better.

Dorlan’s is a tasty restaurant in the South Street Seaport area of Manhattan.

For those unfamiliar, this seaport area has a small section of stone streets and historic buildings- some of the oldest in Manhattan according to Wikipedia anyway.

Dorlan’s was pretty noisy on a Friday night, but the service was efficient, and the food was all good.

I particularly enjoyed the sliders, which were excellent- juicy and flavorful. The fried cod tacos were good, too, and the buffalo popcorn shrimp were another solid option. The raw oysters were a little underwhelming, despite the name of the restaurant. The oysters themselves were just small and hard to scoop out of their shells.

All in all, a good pick. I’d come back!
