(December 28, 2018, 10:52 pm)Loved the food here. The sushi and sashimi were so unbelievably fresh. Best piece of white tuna I've ever had. The salad bar was a fun bonus.

(December 11, 2018, 1:37 pm)I dined here on a Monday evening and wound up sitting at the empty bar over a table I reserved as it was more comfortable to me. The drinks were BEYOND strong (and 2 for 1) and the food was really good. I loved the Shishito peppers, avocado roll and vegetable tempura.
Service was a bit slow at times, but friendly. -
(December 9, 2018, 6:02 am)Asuka is the best kept secret in Chelsea. It is always busy at dinnertime. Congenial staff, varied menu, amazing value. Go for lunch...You won't be disappointed. On 23 Street, yards from the E and C train.

Prices are on the high side, but given its location not surprising. I'd go back for more, for sure...
