What a gem! Was there for a dining event and I could not have enjoyed it more. The food was great, the place is inviting and warm, and the everyone there was super nice and fun. Can't wait to go back!
A great neighborhood restaurant. Beer & wine only but with a robust selection.
After two FANTASTIC experiences at Grape and Grain, I'm definitely making this cool, candle-lit restaurant a regular dining location for me and my friends. It's not just the chill atmosphere and the stream of James Taylor and Jackson Browne songs that make this place such relaxed fun — it's the food!
At my last visit, my table ordered the pan-roasted chicken with collard greens, Aleppo chili, and tomato gravy, along with a side of soft, creamy St. Stephens cheese. Delicious.
Some restaurants have great food but a grungy atmosphere. Other have atmosphere but little culinary excellence. Grape and Grain has both.
Hats off to T.J., the restaurant's hands-on owner, and Jason, the knowledgeable, friendly bartender/waiter.
Was seated at the window booth and it was a great view of the entire restaurant. Scenery, wine and food were all on point. Vibes were high. Would come again.
We were at a wine pairing dinner at Grape and Grain the other night sponsored by Brooklyn Oenology, a local winery. The wines were excellent but for my wife and I the chef at Grape and Grain stole the show. We will definitely be returning.
