Gruppo Thin Crust

The food is very good. The restaurant is never crowded and this is a great place to go with friends or just for a quick stop. The food is expensive but pretty worth it.

Gruppo is the best thin-crust pizza place in East Village. Good service too. Get the bread pudding for dessert.

Nice place to eat pizza, we had a walking tour of punk music around the area and the guide suggested this place, we went to try it and he was right, there is a really good pizza and the attendance was very friendly. Looks that is better to go before 3 pm. After that more people come and probably later get packed.

A nice location but the pizza itself was unimpressive--and with cracker thin crust, they can't support many toppings and yet my mushroom pizza ("shroomtown") was overloaded with mushrooms to the point where it was basically mushrooms with a side of pizza. A solid place for groups to eat, but I'd stick with the entrees rather than the pizza. A good slice joint will give much better pizza for the same or lower price.
