I didn’t think I could top the experience of seeing an opera at the Metropolitan but indeed going for dinner at the Grand Tier before the opera really blew us away! The efficient service coupled with the delicious culinary delights made our night superb! I had crab cake appetizer and tortelli with veal topped off with chocolate mousse. Fantastic! Very pricey but entirely worth the price for an extraordinary experience. The Perfect Manhattan was just that! Then the opera, so convenient to eat then walk to the theater.

The food was excellent, service top notch . Perfect for pre show dinner. A bit pricey but well worth the experience.

A lovely brunch is offered on Sunday with a short vocal offering. The singers are young professionals that are part of the Met Opera Company. The food, the music, and the service are wonderful in gorgeous surroundings.

We booked a table at The Grand Tier for our fist trip to the opera house. We had the "first time $55" promo (3-course dinner for $55) - this saved us about $40. The food was exquisite. Even with the promo my wife and I still spent ~ $270 on dinner... You get what you pay for. It was a treat and we can't wait to go back again.
