Beautiful ambiance - decent food. Pasta could have been a little better but overall highly enjoyable restaurant.
For the area and surrounding spots I definitely think this could be better. The restaurant is super cute, the theme is great. But the service is painfully slow. We went when there was about 3 or 4 other tables and it took a long time to even get a glass of wine. Additionally the server wasn’t helpful with the menu. The food was ok, very small portions for the price you pay to wait forever to receive the dish. I don’t think I’d return as there’s many other Italian spots that are much better but they have the atmosphere that’s nice.
Had a Birthday Lunch at this restaurant...needless to say it was GREAT food and service!! We were all so busy talking about our food and other topics that we forgot to order drinks...LOL!! Otherwise I probably would give Gran Morsi 5 stars... highly recommended for dining.
I have been here for a group event and returned for a dinner. They have an impressive wine list, carrying more than just the typical styles of wine you see elsewhere. Really nice portions, I liked the ratio of meat or veggie to pasta when ordering dishes that contained both. The waiter and the bartender were excellent and very helpful.
We went on a Sunday night and it was very quiet, just a handful of tables occupied. The service was attentive and we chatted to the staff as it wasn't busy. Food was delicious, great Italian food in Manhattan. Wine list was concise and well curated. Great space for a celebrating with 2 or 20 people
