Love this chain! Green sauce is fabulous! Pollo asado is a must have, but the other menu items... pork, etc are all good. Must also have the rice and beans.
The seating arrangements are very lack-luster, basic and less than imaginative. There is no table service. Before you assume these are complaints, keep reading. The food is behind the counter and you walk across choosing what you want added to your plate. Once the financial business is out of the way you take your food to a nearby table (cafeteria style). The fuse is lit... Wait for it... Tick...tick...BOOM! A taste explosion that is extraordinary!!! A taste by way of NEW YORK right into abuela's Cuban kitchen. It's a culinary homerun that will have you coming back for more.
Food is ok and usually uncovered and flying buzzing around. The staff always look like they want you to order as quickly as possible so they can get to the next customers order. If you want quick food I would suggest this place, but if you have some time and want quality food, I wouldn't suggest this place.
Their salmon is out of this world! Avoid going here during rush hour because their lines are long and they are particular about take out and table service. Overall, I love all their lunch specials!
