Method Japanese Kitchen & Sake Bar

This is a super place in midtown with an excellent selection of sake, a brilliant menu and wonderfully warm service. Highly recommended.

Could be 3.5 if I could give it a partial score. I got the sukiyaki but the sukiyaki wasn't that impressive. What I did like was that their bento box was well balanced and mostly tasty. I also liked the calm ambiance. But none of it was memorable. If I'm in the area I might visit again but I don't think I'd go out of my way to go to this place.

Saw this place as I walked by and came back a separate day on a date .The food was great and the staff were overly helpful. I saw regulars engaging in meaningful conversation which speaks to the overall atmosphere of the place.

This place is awesome! I had a great experience end to end. I made a reservation online and in the comments requested a table 30 mins earlier if available. I received a text that evening saying that my table would in fact be available 30 mins earlier! Went to the restaurant and it is adorable. Tons of Japanese people eat here - which is a great signal.We asked our waiter to decide the menu for us. We gave him a budget and diet requirements. We ended up having a multi-course, awesome meal for 4 of us and spent ~$125 per couple with alcohol which is such a great deal for the amount of food, quality and service. I will definitely go here again. Such a great addition to the neighborhood!

I visited on Sunday for lunch and had roast beef don. The beef was so tender and tasted amazing with the rice and the egg.
I also liked that it wasn't too crowded and quiet for good conversations with friends.
