Totto Ramen Hell's Kitchen

Best Ramen in NYC hands down. My favorite chef is Max. He is awesome. And they dedinitely have a vegetarian Ramen option that is delicious and my favorite Ramen in the world. I love the spice. Make aure to get it on the side so you can put your desired amount of spice in.

At the first moment you step in this restaurant the stuff gives you a good feeling. Very congenial stuff, it is a friendly place to go out with your friends or with your date. Great food, professional chef, honest price and excellent service. Warmly recommended.

Unfortunately since the first time I came here their food has gone downhill. I used to visit this place at least once a month. Not many places were open that seemed family friendly. This time around the food was okay but definitely different. Also, the menu is smaller and not much of a variety unless you add-in ingredients. Can get a bit pricey. I ordered the spicy vegetable and Tuna appetizer. The vegetables were raw and cold (unusual since it was hot). The noodles denser than usual. Broth was spicy but not very flavorful. Avocado didn't really taste like avocado, it was bland and hard even though it sat in the bowl for a bit. The tuna was delicious. Tasty and a nice size portion. I'd probably just order the tuna next time. The service was amazing.
