    Comfortable, typical American restaurant for a nice breakfast or lunch. Friendly people and affordable prices.

    Perfect mom and pop spot for a great breakfast. Great value and attentive service. Friends just moved to the area and this is their favorite place in the neighborhood for a fast, fresh meal.

    A reliable neighborhood diner. Everyone goes there. Good breakfast an lunch, but they close at 6PM. Friendly staff, modest prices. Overall, great value.

    A long-time local mainstay, Pier 72 occupies a ground-floor chunk of a prewar apartment building on the southeast corner of 72nd Street and West End Avenue. Open only until 6PM, it serves reliable diner fare, with solid breakfast dishes and a comfortable hamburger. They deliver to the nearby neighborhood. Everyone in the neighborhood goes there at one time or another, and you will occasionally see celebrities who live in the Upper West Side shoulder to shoulder with the rest of us.
