Best coffee in town! Seriously! And you feel like in a small Parisian cafe! Love this spot!!!!
Tiny, very well-put-together-with-love coffee and sandwich shop with stuff you don't normally see in coffee/sandwich shops. Tiny cucumber, olive, and cheese sandwich was very tasty and filling. Cappucino *very* smooth.
My favorite bakery in all of NYC. Quaint and authentic. Sakis, the owner, is one of a kind and brings that neighborhood feel to the big city with his warm and thoughtful nature. Everything is superb, from the sweet pastries (almond croissant may be my favorite .. at least today it is ????????) to the sandwiches (I alternate the Marie Antoinette and the Gainsbourg.) The plain croissants are to die for. Also, this THE only place you should be buying a fresh baguette in midtown east. No supermarket or corporate bakery’s bread will compare. Not too hard.. always freshly baked... perfect for dunking in good olive oil at home on a cold day.
Damn! Best French dip I've ever had. You just want to drink the au jus, it's so freaking good. They also have a lot of creative side dishes that are delicious.
