Gramercy Tavern

Great food and amazing cocktails. Eat at the bar for a less expensive but still delicious meal. Easily the best restaurant in Manhattan. Highly recommended!

One of the restaurant on my list while visiting NYC is Gramercy Tavern, and finally me and my family had a chance to experience the delicacy of the food here.

As soon as I arrived in the restaurant, I felt a warm welcome from all the staffs. The tavern itself was cozy and comfortable, well decorated, and such a proper dining place.

I was here with 2 kids, and unbelievably this restaurant is a kid friendly. They both and we were all very satisfied with the taste, service, and also the no-tipping fixed price system. Very recommended.

This is probably my favorite restaurant in NYC and that's saying a lot. They have amazing cocktails and a tavern area which is first come first serve. Here they serve a la carte options like the famous burger and a rotating seasonal menu. They also have a formal Michelin starred dining room that has a Prix fixe dining option. Service in both areas of the restaurant is 5 star and I make it a point to visit every time I'm in the area.

Such a delight and elegant place. The bar staff are well trained and knowledgeable. I would recommend getting here early or having reservations as there is a wait. We didn't mind as we lingered at the bar for about r5 minutes until a seat opened... Brilliant!

Excellent meal. Have been here twice on special occasions. The food is delicious, the ambiance is really enjoyable, and the service is top notch. Both times; the menu was different; and the food was incredible. Wine menu is very nice; although expensive. Would highly recommend this restaurant if you are looking for somewhere special for an occasion; or if you are just in the mood for a fine dining experience.
