It says "Mediterranean Restaurant", but actually it is a very high level of fusion kitchen using Arab and Mediterranean ingredients, cooked in French and other modern techniques. The dishes made by chef Meir Adoni are delicious, surprising, creativity arranged on the plates.
It is difficult to find a table, so make a reservation ahead!

Had both brunch and dinner here. Loved the flavors and innovative dishes! Good combination of starch, protein, vegetables and spices. Roasted eggplant at dinner was my favorite. And everything at brunch was amazing.

Amazing food, amazing service, and the flavor combinations were really interesting and creative. We will absolutely be back. The eggplant “carpaccio” starter was our favorite dish. Be aware that there is a full flight of stairs down to the bathroom for those who have trouble with stairs.

We love modern Middle Eastern cuisine, and Nur was very disappointing for the price point. The cocktails were poorly balanced. Caesar salad was good, ceviche was OK, Syrian pita was mediocre. Service was mixed: server asked if we wanted our dishes in a particular order, and then they were served out of order. Also the tables are too close together, and the giant hanging lamps are positioned such that the person in the corner hits their head on it getting in or out. Would not recommend.

Excellent food, fun, engaging staff and great service. My friends and I sat at the bar because we didn't have a reservation but Joe took care of us. He made the cocktails with expertise and explained, in detail, the menu. From the appetizers, to the mains, you can't go wrong with anything ordered. My absolute favorite was the black tahini that comes with the octopus dish. Yum!
Sharing means caring in this establishment so I would grab a few friends and order a little of everything on the menu!
