This build-your-own bowl Ramen shop's menu is different from the more sit-down-y Ivan Ramen's in East village. This makes both restaurants well worth a try for Ramen lovers.
First time having ramen and I definitely picked the right place. Food was amazing and definitely would come again. Only downside is I didn't expect it to be as expensive as it turned out to be but when in New York have to expect some expenses.
I saw Ivan on some TV show and figured I'd try it. I thought it was just okay. Maybe because the broth is chicken and I enjoy pork better? The staff was nice though! I did like the garlic one, I think that's one of his specialty. The pastrami bun is just so so.
Cool spot in Gotham market. If you are in the mood for a good bowl of ramen and steam buns go for it! I wish there was more protein in the soup... that would be my only thing. Otherwise very delicious!
This was my first visit to NYC and I am a real foodie. Visited Ivan Ramen Slurp Shop and found it real amazing. We had a Triple Garlic Mazemen which was amazing. The soup for the price would be 8/10. 8 is mainly because very less meat and too creamy. 8 is also pretty good the way I rate it. So it’s a must have.
