I don't understand the purpose of this place. For overpriced food that doesn't have much flavor and is served cold or microwaved? Is the coffee good? What is the appeal? Why is there a guy in a suit by the fridge/candies? Does he work there? He's not serving anybody or greeting customers. Or moving. This isn't a Louis Vuitton store do they really need somebody to guard the food?
Such a proper place for eating, coffee-ing, snacking, and even meeting. Plenty of food choices from western food until Asian food. Beverages options also vary, either coffee or non.
I really appreciate their service by the way since I dropped my black coffee just right after purchased, and they just gave me another free black coffee. Also, I was being helped with the cleaning.
Really such a great snacking place for a box of sushi though.
This Dean & DeLuca is huge. They have a ton of prepared foods, including Sushi, Inari, extra ginger and spicy sauce and more. They also have a huge pastry selection which include Savory and sweet pastries. They have a very large display case with salads and salmon and other such things as well as the usual coffee Fair.
Great coffee and salad nicoise! Fun watching the comings and goings of The New York Times next door!
Strange concept of a restaurant, the customer dies all the work. Orders, paydthen waits - in two separate places, one for food and one for drinks. Your name is called above the noise. Food is good and amazingly it has classical music in background- what a pleasant change! So come but listen hard and be prepared to wait!
