That’s a truly nice coffee shop. True New York style venue to sip some coffee and read a book or work by laptop. Not much space to be seated, however, I never miss a chance to drop in while in Greenwich Village when it is cold and I need some flavor of warmth and coziness.
Coffee is fine, nothing special, it’s just ok. I like it. Pastries are not that numerous, but good. Overall, this is good coffee shop to pay a visit.
I like to spend there my time working over a notebook or reading even if it’s crowded there. This noise does not bother me at all.
The only thing that I didn’t like is that it’s personnel is not smiley at all. Well, i got used that people that work in coffee shops like places always greet you when you enter. Sometimes they can even ignore me when I stand nearby with an intention to make an order.
Delicious neighborhood coffee. The best cappuccino I've had in the village.
Very nice staff. Has some vegan options in the morning. I come back here every time I'm in NYC.
My go-to coffee place. Excellent espresso, and the food is amazing. Get the breakfast burrito or the pulled chicken curry bowl. It gets busy but they work amazingly fast.
Amazing coffee, delicious healthy food, the baristas/staff are so unique and always happy to help, awesome items to buy on the go and an overall Beautiful space... Truly the BEST coffee in the West Village, what more can ya ask for!? Just Get in There!
This little rustic haven is one of my favorite coffee shops in the city. It has a nice, chill ambience with good music, the coffee is great and the food is simple yet fresh. The Elk has some home and lifestyle items for sale, too, making it a truly great neighborhood destination.
