Great food. Nice atmosphere. Good place to talk.

Usually ordering four naan would be totally insane...
But not at this joint - I've had that delicious naan again in dreams since. The perfect vessel for curry.
There's a 'bring your own booze' (BYOB) policy here as they don't serve the good stuff, but really this works out marvellously because there's a liquor store only 2 blocks up (Mitchell's). Just take a hop and a skip back and forth and get plastered with your meal for only $8.99 on what, for legal reasons, must be called 'sparkling wine' and not champagne.
The music was the only issue. Some kind of heavy Indian drum-and- bass flailing out of a war-torn old speaker. Curious accompaniment to a Biryani.
Complimentary rice-pudding with the bill. Delicious, actually. Haven't had the stuff since it came from the ladle of a Mrs. Trunchbull-esque cook back in pre-school.

Every time I have come here I've been treated like family. The food is delicious & filling with enough to take home for leftovers. Their byob policy is without a corking fee & they even have a "design your own specialty" option. I can't wrap my head around any negative reviews because this place has consistently been magically delicious in the 5 years Ive lived in the area. Keep doing what you're doing ???? Thank you so much!
