I must say we were expecting better based on the recent reviews. Service wasn't that attentive, as if they weren't sure who was taking care of our table. We both had the flank steak and eggs dish. The beef was a disappointment. Tough and over seasoned. The potatoes no better than home fries at any dinner and the sauteed arugula just not palatable. My smoked salmon with avocado and capers, a first course, was great though. The almond custard with cherries was nice but just a tiny serving. We probably won't be back for brunch. I have heard such great things about dinner though. Would give that a try.
I came here with my boyfriend about 3years ago before we left for our trip memorial day weekend to ocean city Maryland and it was the best experience I ever had in a restaurant in my whole life. The vibe was so calm & romantic. I loved everything from the service to the decor of the restaurant & the food was delicious and amazing. I definitely want to go back again whenever the pandemic is over.
ate outside with my aide last week.I gave only 4 stars because it was so noisy .which was not the chef's fault to say the least.The service is outstanding without hovering.Plexiglass partitions are especially welcome besides following .The vichisois CDC guidelines provide some privacy.

Awesome place across from Lincoln Center. Food was fantastic. I had the steak and it was very good. She had the hamburger and loved it. The fries were hot, firm, thin and very tasty. We had the steak tartare which is every bit as good as the chef's fancier joints. I had the charred Octopus which was beyond amazing. I am not an Octopus eater normally but I had heard it was so good I decided to try it and I am glad I did. Desserts were great too. First class all the way. Great vibe too.
