Rosa Mexicano

Food is good not excellent. You get a taste of Mexican street food for sure. Ambiance is very relaxed and quiet... which is a plus in NYC..you can actually had have a conversation.. cocktails were rated low among my group of friends.. sorry! $120 for 3 people, brunch special .

4.5 really if the guacamole had more salt and lime and the service was a little more attentive it would have been a 5. Also I like things spicy and the guacamole and margaritas were spicy but mild to moderate at most. Likely they saw a very pale red-headed white girl and toned it down.

The food itself was pretty good. I had some enchiladas which I enjoyed 2 out of the 3 of them. No complaints there.
Unfortunately I went against my better judgment and got a desert recommended by the waiter who only really stopped to deliver the food and charge us.
That was a huge mistake since their Concha tasted like a piece of bread that was taken out of a refrigerator.

I honestly had higher expectations because I knew the price I'd be paying for things but I honestly wish I had gone to a local Mexican spot, it seems they still do it best.

First of all I wanted to say that the food was really good! Everything was freshly cooked and tasted delicious. Second of all the service could be better. Our waiter was nice but I think he had to do the whole floor by himself. He looked really tired and lost. Other than that we left with good vibes from this restaurant.
