    They have very fresh food. The staff is like family. They really get to know you.

    Duke Ellington is truly a large, well-stocked deli, certainly a step above the typical bodega-class spot. A wide variety of cooked food, salad bar, obviously cold cuts and salads like chicken and shrimp for sandwiches or bulk purchase. The salad bar is fresh and good. There are literally every possible type of soft drinks even Stewart's and organic brands and beer and suchlike. Paper products, cereal, cookies and ice cream, too. Fast delivery is also available.
    Here's the rub, as Hamlet said: this spot is very very expensive. It's super convenient and stocked with everything and you def pay for it!
    Check your prices before you check out, too. They've been known to 'round up to the next dollar'. Watch it. Otherwise, no complaints and no surprises.

    Quality products, fresh produce good sandwiches! Its a little pricey BUT a great deli in the neighborhood.
