El Toro mexican grill

Superb, somewhat hidden, place to grab a bite of authentic Mexican food. Portion sizes are reasonable - not overwhelming, not tiny. Food tasted fresh and made with passion. Sauces were tangy and flavorful. Loaded nachos were out of this world!

This is certainly one of the coolest place in the area. Anytime I come there I am exceedingly glad. They maintain their very high level service and the highest level of food they serve. You no doubt will love this place. Highly recommended.

Great GREAT place! Such a fantastic little find. The photos don’t do the food justice (we had eaten most of it by the time I took them :) ). If you are a meat lover like me, get the special (El Toro Parrillada) and a cup of the freshly made guacamole. Best food you’ve ever had!!

El Toro Mexican Grill is definitely a GEM in the Financial District.
I came here once and ever since my first time here, I've come at least twice a week.

If I don't bring lunch to work, You'll find me here on my lunch time. I could even eat the same dish every day and would not make me get tired of eating the same thing cause the food is incredibly delicious, tasteful, perfectly cooked and put together.

I usually get a Taco Salad, either chicken or steak, BOTH are incredibly delightful.
In my opinion the Nachos are THE BOMB, but they are too big for an average person. It is, although, a perfect option for sharing with somebody else.

For those with a PASSIONATE and HIGH LOVE for meat, this is your place. They are DEFINITELY NOT shy AT ALL with MEAT portions, THE BEST PART, in my opinion. I'M A PROTEIN LOVER!!!!!!!!

The staff is lovely, always smiling, always helping you make bad choices as for food. Simple a GREAT atmosphere as a whole!!!!!

El Toro (Not Loco) is 500% recommended.

I love the flavors and the people are pretty nice. My friend said the roasted chicken was a little dry but when she put in the tomatoes and avocados, she said it was so much better. She also loved the flavors and there was a good amount of food for the cost. I will go back.
