Incredible burger, chips with superbly made cocktails by the magnificent Michael! We stumbled across this gem after landing in NYC- and so glad we did. The place was buzzing on a Tuesday night - food, service and atmosphere were incredible and made us Brits feel like a local!

Came in here by myself. Sat at the bar. The place was packed at 12:30 in the afternoon. Had a beer in front of me in 60 seconds. Knew I was getting a burger so I didn’t even ask for a menu. My burger was in front of me barely 10 minutes after I ordered it. Piping hot, grilled to perfection. Nice and juicy. Fries were surprisingly delicious. A cut I’ve never seen which tells me they are made fresh. Even though the bartender was busy as hell, he was funny, attentive and super friendly - just what you’d expect from a neighborhood NYC bar. For anyone complaining about this place - ITS A BAR. Get a grip. Go to a snooty place on Madison ave. JG was fun, delicious, and definitely worth the visit!

Very popular! There was quite a line to get in. Fortunately, the person I was meeting was a regular customer and had already reserved a table. Space is a little tight in the back of the restaurant, but not uncomfortable. My friend told me how many burgers they make in a year and I can see why. Good size burger with pickles, red onions and a nice, soft bun. The French fries were absolutely delicious! Loved the seasoning! I could have had that as a dish by itself. Didn't get any drinks but what I saw, they looked good also. It's a no frills, nice place to hang out and meet up with old friends.

The best burger ever. A light outer layer of crunch with a juicy interior. Delicious every single time. I never leave without eating two of them. Make sure to add Grey Poupon. The fries are also top notch, and the key lime pie is upper echelon.
