Delicious ramen, tempura purple yam fries, and drinks!! Cozy spot with the loveliest staff where you feel immediately welcome.
If you like margaritas, get the umai, a Japanese / sour plum twist on a classic margarita. SO GOOD. I have been back several times just for this drink and end up being reminded of just how yummy their ramen is.
The ramen broth is rich without being overwhelming and comes out super quick.
I’ll be back soon to try their crispy chicken skin!
A true gem in midtown!
Great spot for ramen and other tasty Japanese treats. Service very friendly and attentive service. You have to go down steps to get into the lower level restaurant. Booth for larger parties located in front of the restaurant. Most tables are for parties of two, also area for solo eating. Found ramen to be really well done. Karaage chicken done just right. Gyoza is made fresh, pork and vegan version, pork version very chunky veg. Highly recommended.
The food and service here was amazing! I do not remember the name of the cocktail I had but it was the most unique one I’ve had to date- it was delicious and was full of jelly which was a good surprise! Very sweet as well. The ramen was very filling and some of the best I’ve had!
Had a really great experience eating here. The service was awesome and I liked how they greeted you in Japanese and spoke Japanese to you. Felt authentic, and that manga drink menu really seals the deal. The ramen was delicious, super rich broth and the toppings were amazing. Loved how they added a bit of gold “kin” to top off the ramen. Definitely recommended. Only thing they can improve is to add maybe a bench for a waiting area so you don’t have to camp out on the sidewalk, but I know real estate is tight, so it’s no biggie.
Amazing food. We tried some appetizers and we loved them all especially Sashimi salad. Kin ramen was also delicious! The broth was flavorful and well balanced.
We ordered some cocktails and Umai was my faverite.
Great service and atmosphere
Definitely be back!!
