Great lunch. Deep fried chicken is so fresh and hot. Sashimi is so fresh. Service is wonderful.
HEFTY price increase! They changed the prices this year, and the difference is huge! Until 2021, Steak Niku Croquette, Tori Kara Age and Tori Kurozu were all $10. Buta Kakuni was $13. Now, in 2022, Steak Niku Croquette is $16 , Tori Kara Age and Tori Kurozu are $11, Buta Kakuni is $17.
They also discontinued some of the dishes, including one of the cod menu I always ordered.
Prior to the price increase I loved this place but this will be my last time to visit. This much change is unacceptable.
I also noticed that they stopped doing lunch specials so no more “deals” at lunch time either.
Great food and service.
One downside would personally be sake serving. It was only a shot worth and was mixed with mango juice. In general, the food was great.
The chirashi was so delicious. Momokawa has the best chicken karaage in the city - Kyoto style! So delicious!!! The sushi/sashimi is pricey, but it is worth it. Service has improved vastly and the chef are amazing - highly recommend 💕
VERY high quality food and friendly service. It is a little pricey or I would eat here every day. Maybe I should anyway. This is the best overall Japanese restaurant within 15 blocks. Good selection of sake, and a very warm environment for dining.
