Wonderful staff and friendly atmosphere. Enjoyed (and highly recommend) the day's special of turkey and irresistible sauce! Authentic Irish pub/restaurant culture vibe.
Neary’s is a wonderful restaurant. The food is excellent, and reasonably priced, the staff is the best going above and beyond for every patron.. A warm and lovely environment. Unusual for New York.
Loved this place. Food and service were great--steaks were perfect. Our visit was made extra special when the owner Jimmy came by and displayed his jovial Irish charm. Some dear friends dragged us to this place, but my wife and I can't wait to get back to NYC and return to this hidden gem of fine culinary cuisine and service.
Loved the Waterford crystal above the bar. Pretty place and the wait staff Elizabeth and Mary are wonderful. Love that Jimmy goes from table to table greeting his guests. Not another place like it in NYC that I am aware of in terms of hospitality. Pork chops and steak were very good.
The food was INCREDIBLE! We got the lamb chops that was perfectly seasoned and crisped. The corned beef was astonishing so we got seconds.
What makes this place truly unique (that I was unaware of when we came in) was the history. Jimmy and his daughter was there and they made the experience so lovely. They were absolutely amazing and made us feel like home.
I cannot wait to come back!!
