Definitely a place worth trying, the food is good and fresh, the rates are affordable and it is constantly well organized there. Great work.
One of my favorite places in NYC. Food is surprisingly authentic unlike most other gyro/doner spots in the city. It's completely well-prepared and executed food no matter what you order. It's no different than what you'd get in Turkey. Might be even better! You can tell how fresh the food in your plate is just by the look.
I didn't know a gyro could be so fresh. I've always enjoyed a gyro, so I can appreciate when something new comes along. The meat was surprisingly lean. Not greasy at all. I felt like I was eating a well-seasoned steak sandwich! You're able to taste the different spices and not just salt. The tomatoes also stand out and taste garden-fresh. My sandwich was served on seeded hero bun It was well-portioned, but didn't leave me feeling lethargic. I was very satisfied with my meal and was ready to power through the rest of my day.
I'm highly suspicious of any place that advertises "Best XYZ in NYC!" but the gyro here was excellent. Fresh meat, good topping selection, and the homemade bread was delicious.
Best gyro I have wver eaten..simply put. The ingredients were fresh and the meat, that lamb tastes like lamb. Which it of course is supposed to. Loved it.
