(January 23, 2021, 1:49 pm)Started by the long time chef/family friend of the owners of Thai Sliders, Oro Verde is the newest mexican restaurant in Chelsea.
Oro Verde, translates to Green Gold, which is exactly what their fresh homemade guacamole is. The chips are fried in house and are a perfect compliment to the green gold.
The Molé is absolutely incredible and should be tried since it's the chef's sister's recipe from Puebla, Mexico. This dish is so rich with flavor and rightfully so since it takes 45 minutes to prepare with the Molé shipped from Mexico.
