A bit pricey but the food was really good. The sangria was excellent and it was a nice cozy bar scene. It's a great stop for a "oh we didn't plan it, but let's go on a date" night.
Sustainability: would like to see more effort. ✅ only gives straws upon request ❌ non-biodegradable straws or napkins.
Drinks: really great menu. Had 2 mescal drinks, both of which were very tasty.
Service: attentive and knowledgeable bartenders who know how to make a good drink.
Value: very expensive, especially for the size and strength of the drinks????????????
Ambiance: very warm orange and brown color scheme, candlelit bar and dining experience.
I want to see more on the sustainability front. Very upscale and not sure the cocktails are worth $18. But I could see myself going back.
This was one of my favorite places when I lived in NYC. Just went back for the first time in 4 years and was not disappointed. I love that there the tables are spread out in multiple rooms so the noise level is low. I wish the cocktails and wine had some less expensive options. Also, the last time we went, they were out of the fish and the waiter didn't tell us until we ordered. But all the food is delicious!
Great atmosphere and ambiance. Excellent service from server and delicious tapas type shared plates. Good acoustics so conversation is easy.
