TAO Downtown

Good food, great ambience, and good service. Tried the restaurant week menu and had a good experience. Food was tasty and had decent portion sizes. The restaurant was packed even on a weeknight and my only gripe is that the table we were seated at was so close to the other tables that it offered close to no privacy for conversation. For the price of food here I expected an exceptional experience and it just fell a little short.

Excellent service, the food was great, the ambiance was quite exquisite.... You have to make a reservation and pay $100 to hold it; but the money goes towards your meal. I went on a busy night so the place was packed. They had us waiting for our table even though we reserved from days before but everything else made up for the wait.... 5⭐'s I would definitely go back there.

Do not hesitate to try the TAO experience!

The food was really good and our server was also great. However, we weren’t happy with the overall experience because we made reservations for 11:00 PM and showed up at 10:50 but weren’t seated at our table until 11:35. I understand that sometimes it can be busier than expected, but the staff kept telling us that “they’re just waiting for the table to be prepared” rather than giving us a realistic time frame of how long we should be waiting. We could’ve waited in the bar and would’ve been way happier

Loved the food and the drinks. Ambiance was amazing too - their design and decor certainly help. Our server was super friendly and helpful, which we appreciated. What we didn’t appreciate were the prices - super high and not worth it in my opinion. Still recommend trying out this place though, just prepare to pay big bucks for a good dinner.
