The Standard Grill

The food and drinks was really good BUT the service was even better! Out waiter ...Styuim I probably misspelled his name but he was awesome he recommend amazing drinks to us and was on point with them. The whole experience was amazing Grade A! We would definitely go again and hope to get the same waiter.

My family and I celebrated Mother's day early. We were a party of 8. I made our reservation one week early. Our table was outside, and next to the side entrance of the grill. It was as if we had reserved a private dining experience. To say that our experience was above and beyond would be an understatement. I have loved coming to The Standard Grill for many years, and I was reminded why.

The burger was juicy and delicious and the fries were a great texture. The Blissful Thinking cocktail is one of the best I’ve had in a while, light and not acidic but still strong enough. The tiramisu was heavenly. My server (I wish I got her name!) was wonderful, so sweet and attentive and very personable. I’ll be back the next time I’m looking to splurge on drinks and dessert.

This place is amazing for brunch. I have yet to try them another time but brunch was amazing!! Especially the banana French toast! Will try again when we return to New York.

The Standard Grill has created a stylish setting with their fashionable decor and generously heated patio. Throw in a movie 🎥 night and you've hit the jackpot. Almost. Most of the food is extremely salty. We had the mussels which were quite tasty, but the fries 🍟 were difficult to eat because of all salt. The same with the brussel sprouts. The Caesar salad leafs are very tasty. Our server was kind enough to bring us some cookies 🍪 on the house when we gave our feedback during her check-in. Perhaps adding a veggie burger, beet salad or cucumber summer rolls with peanut sauce to the menu. With a few minor adjustments, this place would be fantastic.
