The Tavern by WS

LOVE this restaurant- well on its way to becoming my fave NYC spot. It’s beautiful - and quiet enough that you can have a conversation, the staff is amazing and the food is excellent. I’ve already made a reservation for next week. Menu items I would highly recommend include the fluke crudo (fab!!!!), the steak, the salmon and the pasta. The desserts are also amazing.

Superb new restaurant at Hudson Yards. Staff was courteous and knowledgeable, and made a fantastic gin & 7. Impressive food & beverage menu. Great choice for a quick drink or full meal.

Lovely experience start to finish. Excellent service, even when our meals were delayed in the kitchen the staff treated us to complimentary glass of wine to hold us over. The rotisserie chicken was absolutely delicious. Particularly enjoyed the design of the space, tailored but not stuffy, beautiful finishes, just the right amount of light and really great acoustics - very comfortable.

Everything was on point. Cocktails were well-crafted. Wine was excellent. Service staff super. Every dish was interesting and all were cooked perfectly (party for 8 so we sampled a large portion of the menu at each course). Nice selection throughout the menu from appetizers, main courses to desert. Couldn't have been better.

What a great place! The food and service (Jacklyn is the best) are excellent, the place is casual but elegant, with a warm and relaxed atmosphere. I read about the recent opening (Nov 2019) on the NYT and the recommendation is spot on. When in Manhattan go see the Vessel, do some shopping at the beautiful mall and have lunch or dinner at the Tavern. Heads up: a bit hard to find the entrance, you’ll think it’s part of the Equinox ( it’s not).
