Pasta was very good. Burger was not. Taste was burned. Usually I really like burgers and try to finish them, but I left this one.
Perfect place for a pint and food. Very clean, friendly staff and decent food.
Great location across from the Amtrak station. Asked for a medium steak, but I was given a steak with a raw center. The server promptly took it back, but I was short on time (had to catch a train), so I got the meatball appetizer instead. it was tasty.
I had a very fantastic Negroni along with the meatballs.
Positives: Drinks, attentive staff, selection of American and Irish Foods, great proximity to transit
Negatives: The incorrect temperature of the steak left me unable to have what I came there to get in time to catch my train, chicken fingers remind me of chicken McNuggets from McDonalds
I'm on the fence regarding visiting again in the future. I may try another nearby restaurant over this place in the future.
FUN . A big bag of fun. June 24 2022. We had shepherd's pie (perfectly made and NOT with ground beef!) and beer; no time for dessert. Server was gracious enough to change an order at our table at the last minute and everything was wonderful. We had to ask for bread (butter not offered) but other than that, it was good. Very very noisy, but again, Irish pub near Madison Sq Garden, A very hopping bar scene, too.
Tips: great stop over from NYC PENN station, checked out the Expresso Martini Irish style (Espesso, Stoli Vanilla, Bailey Irish Cream) with potatoe leek soup (truffle oil and chives) and wild mushrooms flatbread
