One of my first suggestions whenever friends come to town. Great izakaya experience and vibe with a friendly and accommodating staff.
Food is delicious with a lot of variety and pairs great with their selection of beer and sake.
So fun! The food was tasty and perfectly seasoned -- not too salty or oily!
Ordered a ton of small plates with our pitchers of beer-sashimi, yakitori, dumplings, a few different veggie small plates, everything was incredible & brought out quickly once ordered on top of an amazing wait staff!
First time here and it was a great experience. The staff was nice and attentive. The food was delicious. You can get so many things without paying a fortune, and as a person who occasionally wants a bite of everything, this definitely hits the spot.
Village Yokocho is one of my favorite Izakaya
restaurants in Manhattan. Unfortunately,
there's no reservations here.
This restaurant enjoys a solid set of followers, so although spacious, allow a decent amount of time to be seated especially on peak hours. Better
yet, spend your time waiting at Angel's Share
a speakeasy bar that serves great cocktails.
I love dining here and enjoy sharing small
cold or hot plates with friends and family. My
personal favorite is the spicy tuna bowl and I
would always order white rice on the side to
start my meal. There are so many dishes to
choose from the menu. From Yakitori to
tapas and noodles.
Wide varieties of sake are also available in different shapes and sizes.
The customer service is great, it's fast and
efficient. Our waiter is very attentive and very
knowledgeable with the menu.
I've been to Village Yokocho so many times
already and clearly it won't be the last.
