“Incredibly nice staff. Lines can be long since only coffee shop near major transit on the island, so suggest ordering ahead. Not a lot of indoor space, but the outdoor seating area is spacious and pleasant. Been my 'starbs' of choice for 5 years and I have never received a poor quality drink.”

“One of a kind Japanese brunch place. If you have never tried Japanese brunch before, this is the place to go. They have a very well selected menu to help you choose. “Came all the way here and it was closed although it is indicated as open online. Opening hours and days should be updated correctly online. Hence the 3 stars. Came back a week later and it was open. The iced Matcha latte is consistently the best I’ve ever had. Desserts are also good, but wish they would bring back on the menu the matcha chiffon cake they had before the pandemic, it was amazing!…some of the desserts currently on the menu are kinda similar.”

“Rediculously overpriced and no place to wash for bread, which is unacceptable in a kosher restaurant. Large size coffee was equivalent to a small anywhere else. Sandwich on tiny rye bread cost close to $16. Go elsewhere. *Edited to add two stars because the tiny sandwich was delicious”

“OMG! Bread and wine is an upper east side gem right on Lexington Avenue! We were looking for a bite to eat after going to the Cooper Hewitt and came upon this spot and decided on a sandwich and soup...and a couple of glasses soft wine. Definitely try 1/2 a sandwich and soup offering as I choose the grilled salmon and it was delicious! They have a great wine selection to choose from as well as outdoor seating and a well priced menu. Definitely worth the upper East side visit after an afternoon and either the Guggenheim or the Cooper Hewitt.”
