Great food. Friendly service. A winner!
I cook. I love it. It let's me share with my family and friends how much I care about them and it brings me joy to bring them a good meal.
Why is that in the review? Because I need you, the reader, to understand I'm not out here giving 5 star ratings out to substandard food like candy.
With all that being said. I got a regular chicken waffle meal, and a bird box sampler delivered by doordash.
I have never, EVER got takeaway and then CALLED THE RESTAURANT to explain to them how good this actually was.
First off, the fries were neither overcooked, undercooked or poorly seasoned. The mozzarella sticks were identically crispy outside while remaining gooey and cheesy inside. The wings had a proprietary black pepper bbq sauce that had a wonderful balance of heat and subtle sweet note against the savory dark meat pieces, and the piece de resistance, the tender itself; A whole, large tender, clearly hand battered and breaded piece of chicken, fried so carefully as not to break all the stalagmites of crunchy flavor.
The color of each of these items indicating the age of the oil, and hygiene of the restaurant as a zenith of food preparation, skill and a true labor of love.
5 stars. A new local institution, and an exercise in excellence.
Food is always on point. BBW is awesome.
love this place, the food is delicious and you'll get your money's worth
Only gave them 3 stars due to the fact I haven't tried the food yet. This trip was more about getting all the information I could for delivery and restaurant hours. Will update review when I get actual food.
You seen the truck many times, driving around Buffalo. Known for their chicken and waffles sandwiches, they now bring that popular sandwich to Niagara falls along with some other fan favorites. The dirty bird restaurant is super small. There is a table to your left that a family can choose to sit and eat. I think that table is more suited for waiting to get your order. This place is more of a pick up and go type restaurant. There isn't much room inside as soon as you shut the entrance door, your literally at the counter ready to order. Will order takeout very soon.
