Ponderosa

Haven't been to a Ponderosa in years. It was very worth the drive.
The food was good and fresh. The buffet options were great. The one star missing is for the lack of service. We saw our server once. Four of us had two to three plates of food. Our server picked up my salad plate and that was the last we saw of her.
I will go back. Just leave room on your table to stack plates that no one comes to pick up. We still left a $10. Tip which I thought was too much and not earned but maybe she was just having a bad day.

I have been going to Ponderosa for years. Unfortunately there is only one left in Western New York and that is Niagara Falls on Niagara Falls Boulevard. So from my house it's about a 30 mile ride to get there. My usual meal there is sirloin tips with the buffet. I also get the mushrooms with the sirloin tips. But tonight I just settled for the buffet there was more than enough for me to choose from there and actually I got full before I got to try everything that I wanted to try. The price was very reasonable our server was very helpful the food was good. I only wish that they were closer so that I could frequent them more often. Give them a try the hour at Niagara Falls Boulevard in Niagara Falls.

Best steak I've had so far in America. I love crossing the border and going here. The steak melts in your mouth. The buffet is pretty good too. I love the set up of paying first. You don't have to worry about waiting on a bill at the end. The staff are always friendly here too.

Wonderful place to come by yourself, with a date, or the whole family. You can choose to eat off the buffet (which includes: hot food, salads, desserts and soft serve ice cream), or order an entree only ( chicken, steak, shrimp with choice of potato), or a combo of the buffet and an entree. Nothing fancy but gets the belly full. They do offer lunch prices which are a little cheaper.
