Went with my daughter and bf about two years ago. The breakfast was simple, cheap and good. The waitress was very nice and funny. Would definitely go again if I could wake on time. Lol

Normally, I wouldn’t complain about a restaurant based on their customers, but they ruined the experience as a whole, and I’d like to post this as a warning to any POC. The food was good, and the staff was very kind and attentive, but the customers were racist. Getting stares from the racists while simply walking to the restroom was unpleasant. So, if you’re a person of color, I do not recommend eating here. It’s a rather uncomfortable situation that you’re better off avoiding. I’d probably stay away from that whole little town area. I would say I’m lucky my family wasn’t harassed, because it was very clear that many of the customers were childish and racist.

My family and I are regulars at Lou’s and we visit a few times a week. We love Jen and Geri as our waitresses. I normally get the make your own breakfast. Sometimes I step out of my comfort zone and get other items but breakfast is what I get most. The staff is friendly, the food is good and the prices are reasonable. I’ve had some unpleasant experiences in the years we’ve been customers but it hasn’t stopped us from being loyal customers.
