Oh my Gracious!
First of all let me just say the service was incredible! Our waitress was so sweet, kind and helpful!
We ordered Broccoli Francaise! We never heard of it before. We expected little pieces. The pieces were huge! It was so good we couldn't stop eating it! We could have just had that.
When our meals came stuffed shells and Chicken Zachary we realized that HUGE portions must just be the norm in Italian restaurants. I had the Chicken Zachary and it was absolutely delicious! I love the chicken with broccoli, mushrooms and cherry peppers served over Utica greens with a rich brown sauce. Simply delicious!

Best new York strip steak ever. Foods always extremely good. Price is well worth stopping for. If you haven't been there you don't know what you're missing.

Locally and family owned - delicious options on the menu, great portion sizes, friendly staff, daily specials that will remind you of some home cooked meals. Highly recommend the pork steak dinner or the chicken and biscuits. Do not forget to stop by the dessert bar on your way out. Definitely making this a regular stop when in town or passing thru.

Franklin Hotel and Restaurant has great food and great prices. I have never had a bad meal at this restaurant. Bring an empty stomach when you order here or you will take a doggy bag home. Lots of food and it's delicious.

They were very busy last evening . In spite of this our waitress Julia was very attentive . She remained pleasant from start to finish. I had a salad to start that had greens with two slices of tomatoes and three rings of onion. I was a bit disappointed that their were no other vegetables included. The Italian bread was phenomenal. ( I love bread). My companion had the chicken soup. He consumed it all so I guess it was enjoyed. He also had a steak and potato special. He enjoyed that. It was cooked just the way he likes it. My stuffed shell meal was not up to par for Franklin's . They had no shape and were flat and off color. I tried it and it was ok. Maybe they were overwhelmed in the kitchen last night ? I will give them another try perhaps for other visits there were very satisfactory. PS, the ladies room really needs some work.
