The fried chicken was delicious and such a great value! The # of pieces you get in one meal = half a chicken, plus 2 sides and biscuit and/or cornbread, all for $10.79!! Service was also fast & friendly, & when we inquired about purchasing a few more biscuits, they gave them to us at no extra charge. We would definitely go there again. I've had other menu items before, and everything always tastes just like home made.

I'm not a fan of the food in restaurant. But the store is always full of fun and interesting inventory. Fun to browse, although that's usually all I get to do as the prices are a little high
I always end up waiting and hoping something I want will go on sale before I will buy it

Fun place to rock on porch playing with the checker board near sunset, shop in country/boutique store then settle at cozy table to order from extensive menu and frequent southern specials...love having grits. Pie for dessert if you have room. We buy whole pies to take home around holiday...lovely flake crusts. My sister loves when I bring her old-time southern candies, preserves or Australian licorice from the store. So much to look at....set extra time aside and leave impatient husbands who can't explore at home or in the car. Check out the toys!

There is nothing overly special about the food. It's a decent breakfast place; with a very cute shop in the front. The quality of the food is comparable to places such as Village Inn or Denny's, in my opinion. The syrup does come in small individual bottles, which is really nice, because you aren't worried about what sticky grim you might be getting yourself into. We ended up taking them home for the kids. Very family friendly!

Always just good comfort food here. Nothing fancy but just delicious. We ordered the fried chicken which was crispy and not greasy at all. Also the fish fry is always a delicious treat on Friday. I just wish I had saved room for dessert because they had my favorite ..banana pudding ????
