Can a meal bring you to tears? YES! If you are looking for authentic Italian food this is the place to go!! Made me miss my grandma and grandpa! One bite of the incredible (and very large) meatballs and I was in tears! Just like my grandma’s meatballs! Delicious!!
Hard working and very friendly staff! Really authentic and freshly made to order food takes time! Be patient! Totally worth the wait! Congratulations Il Limone and welcome to Syracuse!!! See you soon!

Excellent food! After our dinner the friendly and gracious owner came to talk to us at our table. The food is homemade, by him, and he had a chain of similar spots in Manhattan. I mean ALL of the food is homemade..the sausage, the meatballs, the pasta….it was slightly pricey as it was all a la carte it seems, but well worth it! Never had a better Italian meal! The sauce is unique and exquisite. We had a slice of pizza as an appetizer just to taste it, and it was impeccable. Servings were more than we could eat in one sitting, and we had to bring it home! I had ravioli and hubby had lasagna. I can’t say enough about this new delight other than a. We will be back! And b. You should definitely try it!!!! It was very very busy for take-out, by the way!
